Pandemic Bulk Feeding
DFW Economic Solutions works alongside the U.S.D.A. (United States Department of Agriculture) to provide Summer Meals to children under 18 years of age while school is out. At-Risk meals are also offered through the After-School programs. During the pandemic, Our Food & Nutrition Network Division provided 4,200 meals a week at local church sites. Parents and children could pick up 7-days of meals EACH week. DFW Economic Solutions' response to COVID and food insecurity allowed those in need to ALSO receive meals door to door through the home delivery option. We combat food insecurity one meal at a time through our community care!
D.F.W. Economic Solutions is an equal opportunity Employer and Provider
Nearly 15 percent of U.S. households—and nearly 18 percent of households with children—reported food insecurity early in the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey conducted via social media by researchers at NYU School of Global Public Health.

Our Mission
In 2022, our goal is to provide 7,000 meals a week during the summer and 3,500 meals a week during After-School Programs.

Our Vision
The Food & Nutrition Network will continue to develop innovative ways to provide food to known parts in the city where food desserts exist. The Mobile Food Panty is coming soon.
